During the planning and prelim process we have learned how to used the camera's with a wide range of attachments like the tripod. We have also learned how to use Premiere Pro alongside After affects.
Learning how to use the camera with attachments such as the tripos has allowed us to produce high quality stills , without any risk or chance of shaking the camera accidentally. The tripod allows for some movement along a chosen axis allowing for a perfectly smooth and level pan as well as a smooth angle change. We also learned how to use an audio recording device to begin learning the basics of sound design. This experience was very beneficial as it gave us quite a good inside to the life of a sound designer as well as helping us to learn and practice thinking outside of the box. Learning how to think outside the box not only strengthens our sound design skills, but it improves our creativity when it comes to story planning and creative editing.
Premiere pro has allowed us to put together all the footage we have captured, and edit it down so that only the best and most relevant scenes are present. We are then able to add cuts and transitions to make the sequence look more professional. Premiere pro directly communicates and links with after effects and photoshop. This makes it extremely easy for us to keep everything updated and on the same page , as well as use each software type to perfect our product.
