Analysis of 2 title sequences







Marvels Daredevil

This title sequence uses the technique of titles over moving images and some animation There are various landmarks of the city which the film takes place. The colour scheme is very simple as the images are draped in red blood in dark red and the titles are white to create a high contrast. The blood symbolises the violence in the film which also hints at the genre (action/violence).

22 Jump Street

This title sequence takes place at the beginning of the film giving a clear sense of narrative, plot and genre. The main characters are established early on and their roles within the film are made clear. Short scenes are shown with images afterwards on which the credits are shown. The credits are again white in order to create a high contrast with the background. The sounds used are both diegetic and non-diegetic as there is dialogue and music accompanying the title sequence
