" Transformers Age of Extinction uses a mixture of title sequences.
The title was shown over moving images. The moving images show an event taking place in the story which is then referenced too later on in the storyline, giving the audience an 'AHH' moment as they finally understand what they have seen. This is the discreet portion of the title sequence.
The narrative portion of the sequence comes when you realize that this is not only a subtle but very well done hint to what we may see later on, but it is also an insight into the history and lore of the series as a whole as well as the beginning of some of the character we have fallen in love with over the years."
